Expanded EOD Coverage for Stocks

This post is in relation to the Latinum 8.0.1 update being released later this week. Older Latinum versions do not have access to the new exchanges.

Latinum and IEX Cloud have expanded global historical stock price coverage, with over 200,000+ new symbols for end-of-day historical prices from 160+ exchanges worldwide.

Some exchanges were removed or have had a symbol suffix change, those exchanges are listed below with what you need to do to access the new data. Unfortunately, some symbols may no longer be available :( but fear not… if your favourite ticker isn’t available using IEX anymore try the new Tiingo connection added in Latinum 8.

Removed Exchanges

  • US OTC (MIC: XOTC)

What you need to do if you used symbols US OTC

Browse for the symbol, it may be available under one of the new exchanges added. Several US OTC exchanges were added.

Exchanges with Suffix Changes

  • Nyse Mkt Llc (MIC: XASE) – suffix: -UA, old: none
  • Nyse Arca (MIC: ARCX) – suffix: -UP, old: none
  • Cboe Bzx U S Equities Exchange (MIC: BATS) – suffix: -UF, old: none
  • New York Stock Exchange Inc (MIC: XNYS) – suffix: -UN, old: none

What you need to do if you used a symbol from one of these exchanges

Browse for the symbol, the symbol will be similar but have the new suffix.
